We?ve all experienced the joy of music. With a simple melody, we can be transported back to a moment in time. Or we can be deeply moved by a story told straight from a songwriter?s heart. Music is a language of human expression that we all understand. Starting with the basics of recording your voice, to building rhythm and melodies, this session will give you the confidence and skills you need to tell your own story through a podcast or a song as you learn to use GarageBand on iPad.

Once you?ve completed the Everyone Can Create Music book, you may be considering key steps in the design process to deepen the story behind your work and engage your audience. During this session you?ll explore the Everyone Can Create Design Workbook to complete a larger project and go deeper into the design process. This session is designed to help you apply the creative techniques you?ve learned to your own passion project.

Documentaries present real people in real settings to inform an audience. In this session, you will learn how to tell an interesting and informative story using iMovie. Then you will add style to your movie with transitions, titles, and other effects.�

Through the magic of special effects, movies can whisk you away to remote places, warp the fabric of time, and space, and take you to other worlds.� In this session, you?ll learn a few easy editing tricks that you can use to make videos that mystify and amaze your audience. You?ll also learn how to use filters and effects to transform the look of your clips and how to use the built-in green-screen feature in iMovie to transport characters to any place?real or imagined.�

Explore advanced uses of the Nearpod Platform to make student thinking visible. Participants will learn techniques to deepen their questioning, document student learning, and support student autonomy by leveraging Nearpod's activity bank, pairing Content with interactive Activities and incorporating moments to shift from LIVE to Student-Paced mode. By the end of this transformative session, participants will recognize the endless possibilities that the Nearpod Platform provides to enhance student learning and will be equipped to level up their usage.

Come experience Nearpod as a learner, explore the Nearpod Library of lessons, where they will find, edit and launch lessons in both LIVE and Student-Paced mode. You will begin to explore how to create lessons that use their own resources. Finally you will learn how to view student progress in the lesson as well in the reports.

Nearpod is amazing for any lesson! However, a Nearpod lesson doesn't have to be multiple slides to be extremely powerful. Come learn some strategies for using Nearpod for Blended Learning!
